Cell Signaling Technology Principal Product Marketing Manager – Immunology / IHC in Danvers, Massachusetts

The role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Marketing Manager to join CST’s global Marketing Team to have responsibility for CST’s Immunology product portfolio, focused on Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, as well as, help with the commercialization of new and innovative technologies.

This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing and will own the business strategy behind several products/portfolios and the whole product lifecycle from beginning to end.

The role will work cross functionally with strategic marketing, marketing communications, sales, product development, other commercial partners and manufacturing to develop and execute product strategy. This role requires someone with a strong history of success with the development and commercialization of highly scientific products and the ability to identify new scientific trends and define requirements that go into a product and see it through to commercialization.

You'll have the opportunity to....

  • Lead strategic and tactical planning efforts around key product portfolios in order to make investment recommendations to the leadership team

  • Drive Product Line Strategy (PLS), Aligned Decision Making (ADM), Commercialization, Messaging, Pricing, Platforms, and large customer engagements

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform and drive the product portfolio and roadmap, and identify strategic growth opportunities

  • Partner with Strategic Marketing to develop and implement market research strategy to guide product line planning

  • Serve as a leader in the business planning and forecasting process

  • Monitor and communicate competitive activity and market trends as well as formulating strategic response

  • Coach and mentor less seasoned Product Managers and assist with large technology bids.

  • Helps to train commercial teams and develop sales tools and promotional content related to the products/portfolio

  • Contribute to sales support for new opportunities, BD deals, and/or KOLs.

  • Drive operational planning, reporting, and orders forecasting

  • Manage and develop direct and cross-functional talent

  • You have experience working with global sales channels and distributors

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences focus area. An advanced Scientific degree (MS or PhD) or a MBA is a plus, but is not required

  • Experience, interactions and exposure to Business Development initiatives is desired, but not required
