KAYAK Software Corporation Software Engineer in Concord, Massachusetts
Software Engineer, KAYAK Software Corporation (Concord, MA): The Software Engineer will help improve and maintain KAYAK\'s world-leading search and booking technology. Implement new backend search and facilitated booking features for leisure and corporate product offerings. Improve existing features with an eye towards speed and user experience. Develop and launch new API integrations with our travel partners. Build and maintain existing integrations with third-party APIs. Debug integration issues and implementing integration feature fixes. Provide technical support to our customer support team. Participate in rotating developer-on-call responsibilities for operational stability in our functional area. Work with many different functions within the business (UI, commercial, product, customer support, other backend engineering) to design, implement, and maintain user-facing features. Telecommuting from within the U.S. is allowed. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Special Requirements: Must have any level of demonstrated knowledge of: 1) Multi-threaded software development using JAVA; 2) Web implementation using REST and JSON; 3) SQL, HTTP, XML, JSON; 4) APIs; and 5) Spring, MySQL, Git, Tomcat, Apache.
