Emerson Hospital Addictions Clinician Associate in Concord, Massachusetts

Job Summary Functioning under the supervision of a licensed clinician, provides comprehensive addiction services to inpatients and/or outpatients, including psychosocial assessments, treatment and aftercare planning, running of Addiction Rehabilitation Program/Intensive Outpatient Program, family meetings, and facilitation of aftercare groups.

Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in field related to mental health or addiction required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience Minimum of one year clinical experience in addictions treatment required (may include internships or clinical rotation).

Licensure and/or Certification Enrolled in MA level Mental Health program (MSW, MA/Counseling) or recent graduate of such a program.

BLS healthcare provider required within 6 months of hire.

CPI within 6 months of hire date.

Skills Ability to perform comprehensive addiction assessments, run addiction focused psycho-educational and process-oriented groups, and provide focused, short-term treatment. Must have knowledge of and ability to access community and state resources. Communication skills. Organizational skills. Computer skills. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information.
