Training Specialist - Chicopee Office Chicopee, MA \$50,689.69 - \$76,034.54 Annually Department: Retail Administration Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Grade: 9 Reports to: Training Manager Amount of Travel Required: Some Travel Required Positions Supervised: None POSITION SUMMARY Conducts training and development programs for employees. Plans, organize, directs and assists with training activities. Conducts orientation sessions as well as on-the-job training for new employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides new hire training with a primary focus on Teller training. Creates lesson plans and sessions to provide adequate and consistent training for employees and schedules accordingly. Prepares training materials as needed. Stays abreast of all changes within the Bank in order to update the training curriculum. Attends updated seminars relevant to Training and Training Management. Assists in maintaining the Bank\'s online training courses along with Training Manager and Compliance Officer. Assists in maintaining the Bank\'s partnership with third party training and education including CFT and Bank Webinars. Performs regular branch visits post formal training. Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned. Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position. Perform additional duties as needed. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competencies Adaptability/Flexibility Communication Dependability Initiative Time Management Education/Experience/Skills High School Diploma or GED required. 3-7 years banking experience and training experience preferred. DNA or similar Core system experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required. General office skills required. Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
