MEO/Laborer Department: DPW - Sanitation Employment Status: UFCW Laborers, Non-Exempt, Full-Time (40 Hours) Salary: Grade 8L, Step 05, \$21.31/Hour + Licenses Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4:00PM Certifications/Licenses Required: MA Class B CDL License, MA Class D Driver?s License SUMMARY The City of Chicopee\'s Department of Public Works / Sanitation/Recycling Division is hiring an MEO/Laborer whose primary responsibility will be picking up and loading trash and recycling materials throughout the city into vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE: Runs a hopper. Picks up trash/recycling products. Loads trash into hopper. Cutting brush and grass. May be assigned to litter clean up. Adheres to all state, federal, and local safety regulations as well as City of Chicopee Health and Safety policies.
