Westover Job Corps Academic Manager in Chicopee, Massachusetts

Academic Manager Responsibilities: Reports to the Deputy Director. Responsible for directing staff engaged in providing academic training for all students and ensures departmental programs and standards meet all DOL, PRH, Center and Serrato Corporation requirements. Ensures that all classroom instruction is rigorous and relevant. Collaborates with Career Technical Manager to provide applied academics in the academic program. Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in education from a four-year college or university. Master?s degree in education preferred. Certified to teach in state in which center is located (Regional Office may waive if center is unable to hire certified teachers, but the candidate must pursue certification). Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required. Valid State Driver?s License with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management
