Collaborative Teamwork: Partner closely with lead teachers to bring individualized educational plans (IEPs) to life, ensuring each student\'s unique needs are met. Direct Support: Provide hands-on assistance with personal care tasks and expertly manage behavioral crises, offering unwavering support to students during classroom activities to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment. Positive Communication: Harness the power of positive behavior support strategies to cultivate essential social skills, enhance communication abilities, and promote independence among students. Cultivating a Supportive Atmosphere: Cultivate a warm, supportive atmosphere where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to embrace their journey of learning and growth. Documentation and Reporting: Thoroughly document student progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring everyone is informed and involved in each student\'s educational journey. Age requirement: Must be 18 years or older to be eligible for employment Education: High School Diploma or GED required Driver\'s license: Valid driver\'s license required Availability: 40-hour work week, M-F, 8 hour days plus a 30-minute unpaid midday break. Punctuality is a must! We are all in this together! Experience: 1+ years experience working with people with disabilities and/or education in a related field.
