TEKsystems Project Manager in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Description:

This individual will be working at one of our customer's to support the NED Engineering Division in an effort to support various projects. This individual will take existing processes and drive change management throughout the Northeast Division footprint.

They will be driving process improvement and change management to assist in making a concise process to ensure they are capturing repeatable tasks, along with driving specific project outcomes. They will adapt and apply our customer's delivery approach to meet project objectives and client business drivers. Establish and maintain project communications, through scheduling conference calls with various vendors and internal teams.

Oversees project estimations through conversations with vendors and engineering/network engineering staff. Establishes and maintains processes to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle. Identifies and manages project issues. Sets project quality and performance standards. This individual will need 7+ years professional experience with 7+ years in project management successfully delivering results, preferably in a service organization and within an Engineering environment.

Prior experience leading diverse project teams of 10 or more people in dynamic and fast-paced environments; 1-2 years of client management experience with primary accountability for client relationships. Experience leading multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery.

Excellent facilitation, planning, documentation and meeting management skills. If there are missing details or an issue will hold up a launch date the key players within the project must be made aware. Demonstrated success influencing others to get results.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience of Project Management, preferably in a service organization/telecommunications organization or within an engineering environment.

  2. Must have experience with process improvement and change management, as this person will be holding multiple groups accountable to completing specific tasks tied to modernization and implementation projects within engineering.

  3. Must have excellent facilitation, planning, documentation and meeting management skills, as they will be assisting with meeting deadlines and project launches. Will be managing multiple trackers and working in excel frequently.
