Lockheed Martin Production Control Assistant / 1st Shift / SAP exp / Chelmsford in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

We are seeking a Production Control Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing floor with production control tasks. You will use SAP and Apriso WM daily to put parts to stock, complete remove and replace tasks on rework, and release production orders. You will also use Microsoft Excel to maintain records of stock, needed release dates, and position to program need on WIP. Additionally, you will work with Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Program Manager, etc. to prevent issues and resolve problems that may arise. You will attend stock purge meetings and pull reports as needed. Moreover, you will help to keep Kanban inventory accurate and assist with Kanban cycle counts as needed. You will support the team in Performance Management Teams and process improvements. Lastly, you will fill out a weekly Kit Release Plan to keep the correct amount of WIP on the floor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in Production Control

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Will require an Interim Secret Security clearance prior to starting

Desired Skills:

• SAP experience

• Experience with the Kanban system

• Experience handling electronic components

• Experience with Apriso

• Ability to determine priorities without frequent supervisory input

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle a large volume of work

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-starter

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
