Lockheed Martin Product Lead / Chelmsford, MA in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Description: 1.Program Production Operations Execution: Overseeing and managing the production operations team to ensure they align with the program’s objectives and goals.

2.Transition to Production: Leading efforts to smoothly transition the program from development to full-scale production.

3.Team Leadership: Providing direction, coordination, communication, and leadership to cross-functional and cross-geographic production teams.

4.Quality, Cost, and Schedule Management: Ensuring that the program meets or exceeds production quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

5.Facilitation and Teamwork: Leading and facilitating production line teams, fostering teamwork, and directing teams in various aspects such as product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

6.Manufacturing Operations: Coordination of various manufacturing operations, including production planning and scheduling, utilization of SAP/MRP systems, quality management systems, manufacturing/process engineering, and material/manpower management.

7.Control Account Management: Taking responsibility for control account management and providing performance status and progress reports to the program team.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a

related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined

education, with at least 5 years of professional

experience.

• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills with a focus on understanding the message being given to the audience

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Team lead or project lead experience in cross-functional production environments

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college with at least 5 years of professional

experience.

• Control Account Management (CAM) Training

• Production Supervisor experience, Production Scheduler experience, or IE or ME Experience

• LSS Greenbelt Certified

• PMT Lead Experience

• Knowledge or experience in continuous improvement and cost reduction and affordability

• Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
