Adecco is thrilled to assist one of our top clients in their search for a Material Handler II in CHELMSFORD MA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real impact!

Position Details:

• Hourly Rate: $ 23.00

• Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

• Type: Temp to hire

As a Material Handler II, you will:

• Prepare and meticulously review shipping documents for both domestic and international shipments.

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless communication and addressing inquiries promptly.

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to DOT, IATA, GMP, and ISO standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Highly independent, detail-oriented, and exceptionally organized.

• Must possess valid DOT and IATA certifications.

• Proven experience in domestic and international shipping and compliance.

• Proactive and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review shipping documents (domestic & international).

• Pull and transact materials using ERP system.

• Handle hazardous materials, shrink wrap pallets, and cycle count inventory.

• Ensure safety and compliance (DOT, IATA, GMP, ISO).

• Operate pallet jacks and 2-wheelers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures.

• Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory management.

• Experience in handling and shipping hazardous materials.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Basic computer and math skills.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
