BILH SS is expanding the Epic Analyst Teams. We will be considering applications for ALL levels of experienced analysts in most modules. These positions will be hybrid/remote (details provided at screening)

EHR Application Analyst performs a variety of duties related to the information technology applications.

Responsibilities include assisting with design, development, system configuration, implementation, continuous improvement and support of information systems for the organization.

The EHR Application Analyst must be comfortable working with multiple teams and key customers to ensure appropriate development and implementation of application functionality.

Job Description:

1.Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR application content.

2.Follows functional specification documents to create content within the EHR application and is primarily responsible for validating this content with the business owner.

3.Completes assigned projects and meets deadlines under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader and/or manager.

4.Escalate any issues that may adversely impact deliverables.

5.Achieve and maintain required certifications (if applicable) of respective EHR application and stay current with new application functionality and enhancements.

6.Acts as a liaison between IT, customers and/or vendors. Participates in meetings with all operational areas using the software application.

7.Prepares and maintains documentation, including analysis, design, programming, standard procedures and user guides.

8.Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department and/or customer.

9.Provides on call / after hours support as required.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

3. Direct experience in Electronic Health Record implementation and support. (In lieu of direct experience, 1-8+ years of operational experience utilizing the applicable Electronic Health Records &/or graduate of an accredited college program will be considered.)

4. Vendor required certification in good standing (or proficiency if vendor accepts) for applications/modules employee is assigned to support. If not currently certified (or proficient), employee will have 6 months from their Date of Hire or Date of Transfer into a position that requires certification (proficiency) to obtain such certification.

6. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
