Berkshire East Resort Summer Lift Attendant in Charlemont, Massachusetts
Summer Lift Attendant 15.50-15.75 per hour 15.50 - 15.75 Higher rate for returning employees or experience. Hourly Seasonal Complimentary use of all activities at Berkshire East, Zoar Outdoor and Catamount Mountain Resort, food and merchandise discounts, friends and family vouchers Monitors loading and unloading of guests and related equipment on chair lifts Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must be 18 years of age. Start up and shut off lift as instructed by manager. Familiarize guests with the safety equipment used on the lift. Observe and assist guests if they have difficulties using the lift Ensure that guests are using lifts properly and safely. Check lift ticket or season pass ensuring it\'s current and valid. Load and unload gear support Enforce age or ability restrictions when loading the lifts. Maintain loading and unloading ramps at required specifications. Complete daily lift logs or other required paperwork. Report lift related accidents or injuries to manager immediately. Report malfunction or other lift issues to maintenance immediately. Assist maintenance with trouble shooting when requested. Complete tramway incident reports as required. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Skilled in providing outstanding customer service. Must follow company procedures for maintaining a safe workplace. Must pay attention to detail and have an extreme dedication to safety. Must pass lift operator training session prior to working at lifts. Must have a friendly and fun disposition and connect with guests. Communicate clearly using 2 way radios.
