Robert Half Office Assistant in Canton, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant position based in Canton, Massachusetts. The role involves providing administrative support in a fully on-site setting. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for maintaining efficient office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle communication with members and external sources professionally and effectively.

• Assist in taking minutes during meetings and ensuring they are accurately recorded.

• Maintain both paper and digital files, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.

• Provide coverage for reception duties as needed, which may include greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing mail.

• Utilize MS Office suite to perform various tasks such as data entry, creating documents, and managing schedules.

• Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned to support the smooth running of the office.

• Use your skills in Administrative Assistance, Receptionist Duties, and Filing to ensure efficient office operations.

• Adapt to changing demands and showing flexibility in juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure all office procedures and systems operate efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in an administrative assistance role

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience in managing receptionist duties, including handling phone calls and customer queries

• Demonstrable ability in filing and organizing documentation effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus.
