Marketing & Communications Specialist

*Onsite Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays

Kelly is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to work with our Canton-based client in the insurance industry on a temporary basis for 3-6 months, starting ASAP! This is an excellent opportunity to join the corporate marketing team of a reputable organization that has been successful for over 130 years.

The Marketing & Communications Specialist will:

• Develop and manage strategic content aligned with communication, marketing, and advertising plans related to external websites, employee intranet, digital marketing initiatives, marketing and communications collateral, and social media platforms

• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across teams and vendor partners

• Manage content development, curation, and implementation for the organization’s websites (external), intranet (internal), including identifying opportunities for better customer experience using those platforms

• Manage content development, curation, and implementation for the organization’s social media platform accounts to maximize digital presence opportunities and address customer engagement

• Develop and manage search initiatives such as search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)

• Review and analyze department’s marketing and communications data and metrics and collate information for reporting, trend identification, continuous improvement, and executive distribution

• Provide public relations, distribution marketing, and creative services support as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

• 1+ year(s) experience in marketing or communications

• Proficiency in social media platforms, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, HTML, and/or WordPress preferred

• Proven experience in communications and/or marketing to support strategic planning and tactical plan implementation

• Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
