Job Summary

The Director of SG&A Management will spearhead the transformation of Opex and Capex spend at Point32Health. This visionary leader will serve as the integral architect of the continued optimization of cost structure; role will be responsible for crafting robust financial analyses, connecting long-range strategy to operational planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

  • Coordinate with finance leaders supporting all admin areas for monthly close activities, analyze variances and present concise and actionable narrative to senior leaders.

  • Drive detailed analysis and apply critical thinking to evaluate admins spend drivers and help optimize cost structure for the organization.

  • Lead multi-year strategic planning process to deliver organic growth and margin in line with business expectations, establish driver based goals for business performance.

  • Lead investment decision making, balancing risk to ensure return on investment while achieving growth objectives.

  • Report business case performance comparing actual results with commitments.

  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

  • Manage company wide business and legal entity allocations.

  • Continue to improve effectiveness and efficiency of all FP&A processes including Monthly Close, Monthly Operating Review, Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Foster a collaborative environment within BPPM and build seamless partnerships with all business units to gain deep insights and drive strategic alignment.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of FP&A professionals, fostering their development and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job

  • Education, Certification and Licensure

  • BA/BS degree required.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience (minimum years required) :

  • 10-15 years' related business experience with Finance background required.

  • Experience of managing FP&A functions and deliverables in medium-large Health payer organizations

Skill Requirements

  • Project management and organizational skills

  • Analytical Skills: ability to synthesize and organize information for meaningful use and action

  • Knowledge of budgeting process

  • Proven oral and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship building and leadership skills

  • Ability to develop, motivate, and provide direction to staff

  • Understanding of technology related to Poin32Health systems

  • Knowledge of financial systems and modelling tools

  • Strategic thinking skills: ability to draw meaningful insights and identify business implications

  • Individual must exhibit desire for further career growth

  • Working Conditions and Additional Requirements (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel) :

  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.

  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.

  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
