Job Summary
Point32Health is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Portfolio Management organization in the role of Data Analyst. This role is a key position within the organization, focusing on delivering meaningful insights on portfolio health through the evaluation of project and financial performance information to provide analytics and insights that drive decisions and action. This role directly impacts financial stability, compliance, and operational capability. This role enables the analytic community to unlock the value of data and deliver insights that support business-critical decisions and enterprise strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex data analytic solutions.
Design and generate detailed analytic dashboards highlighting project execution including financial performance, accomplishments, and outliers.
Produce standard reporting and analytics to evaluate trends, understand performance variability, and suggest opportunities for performance improvement.
Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of data sourcing from project tracking and financial tracking systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders within business and IT departments to develop business requirements and conduct user acceptance testing.
Serve as a liaison between the Enterprise Project Management, Information Technology Portfolio, and business community for data issues and enhancements.
Present findings clearly to business owners and peers.
Evolve the team’s skillset for advanced analytics and leverage new techniques and tools.
Apply rigorous QA, using external validation sources and peer review.
Seek additional training and build knowledge of business acumen, tools, languages, and data sources.
Establish strong business relationships and serve as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
Education, Certification and Licensure
Required (minimum): Bachelor’s degree in an analytics-related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Finance, Business, Economics, or similar analytical field.
Experience
Demonstrated experience with complex data exploration, such as aggregation, normalization, and validation.
Experience in information management best practices, including information lifecycle management, data modeling, and carrying out business audits and requirements gathering.
Knowledge of Project Management, Agile and Waterfall development methodologies required.
Skill Requirements
Passion for data and problem-solving.
Ability to simplify complex scenarios and drill down into details with compelling data storytelling.
Advanced proficiency in SAS/SQL programming and a broad understanding of relational databases.
Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, standardized reporting, and pivot tables.
Comfort with navigating complexity and ambiguity while maintaining a positive and collaborative spirit.
Strong written, visual, and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines
Experience in moderate to complex analytics, applied statistics, and advanced programming (SAS, SQL, R, Python).
Knowledge of visualization best practices and data storytelling methods.
Experience with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is required and project financial data processing experience is preferred.
Continuous improvement mindset and lifelong learning attitude.
Working Conditions and Additional Requirements
Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
