  • Interpersonal communication skills with dedication to providing a high level customer service

  • The ability to organize and coordinate workload independently among constant deadlines and shifting priorities

Additional Information:

No prior scheduling or queue management experience required. Expert training and mentoring will be provided by the Information Technology Services (ITS) team.

As Technology Support Services Staff Assistant, you will:

  • Review incoming tickets, monitor for priorities and tickets that need to be reassigned to other groups

  • Work with the Manager of TSS to develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions

  • Assist in the management of classroom and event scheduling, reporting scheduling issues around support classrooms, events, and staffing assignments to manager

  • Contribute to Knowledge Base documents

  • Organize and inventory equipment, and assist with ordering supplies and materials

  • May prepare or distribute print or electronic materials or signage

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Technology Support Services, the Staff Assistant is an integral member of the ITS Services Department, handling queue management, scheduling and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient daily IT operations. May be assigned to work independently or as part of a team under the guidance and direction of the Manager.
