Technical Lead - Intracardiac Echo (Cambridge, MA)

Responsible for the technical and functional aspects of the team’s performance along with the scientific and engineering rigor of the work.

Your role:

  • Lead advanced development and product development activity to create innovative intracardiac echo technologies for structural heart disease.

  • Direct intracardiac echo transducer design, fabrication, and evaluation.

  • Direct software algorithm development that will be a part of an overall imaging system

  • Provide leadership and management of a team of engineers and scientists. The Lead will interface across departmental and business unit levels and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Direct translation of high-level objectives into detailed technical plans and manage plan execution and serve as point of contact for intracardiac echo cross-business interactions.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 10+ years of engineering experience in the design and commercialization of medical ultrasound transducers; experience with intracardiac echo transducers preferred

  • Your skills include algorithm design and implementation (including image registration, image segmentation, deep learning networks) preferred.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

  • You have the ability to make things happen by encouraging and channeling the contributions of others, recognizing, and addressing important issues in a timely manner, and acting as an agent for change and continual improvement when required to achieve results.

  • You are experienced working with cross functional teams, including senior leadership, in a global organization with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
