Google Strategic Cloud Developer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience writing software in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, C++, or similar).

  • Experience administering and deploying cloud-based email and collaboration systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying productivity and collaboration solutions.

  • Experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g., Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g., REST APIs, web security mechanisms).

  • Experience with cloud storage solutions, SQL/NoSQL datastores, and distributed computing technology (e.g., MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, Elasticsearch/Solr).

  • Experience in delivering solutions that meet public sector security and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, or risk management framework.

For US Applicants: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$168,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build rapid prototypes and MVPs using a variety of technologies and frameworks.

  • Work with customers to understand their needs and requirements.

  • Execute design sprint methods and other rapid iterative approaches.

  • Provide guidance and consulting to customers on how to build production-grade products.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends.
