What You'll Do

You will be a key enabler of an engagement, leading Microsoft consultants, offshore resources, and partner staff through successful delivery. With your passion you will motivate others and yourself to drive the vision of changing the world to a better one through the power of productivity. With your spirit and your ideas, you will strive to be a role model and help others to understand the advantage of the latest AI-technologies. You will act as an entrepreneur and as an evangelist internally and externally and will drive the value proposition of Business Productivity with every action you take.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Overall Responsibility for Project Delivery

  • Scope Management & Change Control

  • Schedule/Deliverable Management

  • Staffing/Resource Management

  • Issue and Risk Management

  • Financial Management

  • Contract Management (amendments/administration/subcontractor/invoices)

  • Status Documentation/Escalation Management

  • Executive Relationship Management

  • Project and Customer Communications Management (up/down/peers)

  • Pre-sales Activities (develop and review SOWs and cost estimates)

  • Process Improvement Initiatives and Mentoring

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Candidates must have excellent project management, communication, organization, negotiation and problem-solving skills. The role requires both deep project management experience in a consulting organization and broad business and technology acumen. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to engage in senior level business and technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and end to end technology projects. Experience using Agile methodology and an understanding of Collaboration Messaging and Intelligent Communications.

Required

8+ years of professional experience in an enterprise consulting services environment

5+ years of Project Management experience in a technical environment

Ability to travel 50%-70%

Preferred:

Minimum of a four-year degree (MIS or Technical degree preferred)

PMP Certified Project Manager

Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) Certified or Agile/Scrum Master Certification from industry recognized organization

Top Secret Clearance preferred

US Citizenship:

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.

Secret Clearance:

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Candidates selected for this position must comply with Federal Executive Order 14042 mandating that federal contractors and subcontractors receive the COVID-19 vaccine by being fully vaccinated before their date of hire, or work with Microsoft to receive an approved religious or medical accommodation.
