About the role

As a CBRE Senior MAC Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all occupancy, space management, and move and change activity services are delivered efficiently and effectively on behalf of a large or high-profile client.

This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function. They are responsible for furniture oversight and move services.

Role is hybrid but may require availability onsite up to 5 days/week. Schedule will be agreed upon with manager. Must reside in the Raynham, Boston or Cambridge, MA areas.

What you’ll do

Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & achievements, quality control, and risk identification.

Produces drawings and presentations for internal stakeholder(s) and client facing steering committee meetings (Workplace Managers, Business Unit Directors, Leadership) for review and feedback; involves project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services.

Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Builds action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.

Oversee the move process and partner selection, management, and oversight.

Manage client move projects to ensure accurate delivery of changes on time and within budget.

Approves, schedules, and coordinates all people move activities. Partners with onsite personnel or external vendor to implement moves. Communicates with other site departments (security, housekeeping, mailroom) to ensure a smooth transition for the end user. Confirm building area readiness for all moves.

Lead small project delivery resources/team providing mentorship and direction to achieve project goals

Facilitates post-occupancy support and reviews to ensure project was implemented and client’s expectations were met. Identifies improvements by and among the clients. Transitions project to the Sustaining Management Team. Acts as a subject matter authority for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions. Mentor and train team as needed.

Travel will be required for the role approximately 10-15% of the time.

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc along with computer savviness.

Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.
