Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated leader to join Digital Science Solutions as the Senior Director, Commercial. As the Senior Director, Commercial, you will have the opportunity to architect and lead the commercial strategy to successfully deliver over $100M of revenue for our business. This role is global and combines a strategic view of sales management with a focus on motivating the team. You will be a part of our DSS leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully drive and achieve annual sales targets and growth by cultivating teams that consistently exceed sales targets and revenue growth.

  • Increase market presence and capitalize on all available market opportunities to establish a strong and lasting customer base.

  • Drive commercial innovation through SaaS models, Subscription models, indirect dealer channels, and partnerships.

  • Set the correct culture for the team, creating long-term industry leadership in the digital lab space.

  • Work with other members of the leadership team to establish a high-performance mentality.

  • Promote a culture of accuracy in forecasting, team development, pricing and discounting, and other sales operations functions.

  • Be culturally aware and willing to target emerging opportunities and market needs.

  • Build long-term relationships and consultative selling methods in complex sales and enterprise-level sales cycles.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a sales professional in the industry.

  • Recognized as an industry expert in the field of SW and SAAS.

  • Comfortable leading strategic and tactical discussions at all levels of the organization.

  • Collaboration skills working with internal and external clients.

  • Familiarity with life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and applied markets - or similar industries.

  • Experience improving processes and systems to drive effective methodologies.

  • Significant capabilities in driving and influencing teams to achieve planning goals and timelines.

  • Exceptional ability to strategize and possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
