  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

  • 3+ years of experience is required

  • Education beyond high school may count toward experience.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Must have a high attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Communication skills (written and oral)

  • Ability to manage confidential materials

  • Facility with technology/capability to master new technology skills.

Additional Information:This is a 40 hours/week, overtime-eligible position.

This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday – Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.

  • Primary front-line contact for students on the phone, over email, and in person Advise students on Financial Aid policies and procedures, debt management and sources of funding Assess private loan eligibility.

  • Certify and monitor loan applications, coordinate with outside lenders

  • Using judgment to index and assess financial aid documents for EC students and determine completion of documentation.

  • Generate financial aid decision letters appropriately Support EC student team with exit counseling

  • Reconcile student aid funds monthly using the University wide FARS system

  • Create report for term start up refunds and assess the accuracy of the group of student eligible refunds.

  • Prepare Student Bill refunds and anticipated aid files while following appropriate financial controls

  • Provide general support to career support and other programs as needed

  • Responsible for other duties as assigned
