Philips Software Test Engineer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

null Join a dynamic, fast-moving software test and automation engineering team testing best-in-class Healthcare Informatics and Patient Monitoring solutions. Work with the latest embedded device, Linux and Microsoft© integrated development environment (TFS), using the latest automation tooling. Candidate Responsibilities : You will be part of an established team committed to innovation and contribution, trust and respect, teamwork and uncompromising integrity. Cultivate effective working relationships with other test team members, software architects and developers. Track new product functionality. Maintain and enhance testing infrastructure, integrating new tools and technologies in a continuously evolving environment. You will be responsible for both functional and automated SW verification. Candidate Profile :

  • Bachelors &/or Masters degree in a clinical discipline (ex. Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Informatics) and minimum of 5 years experience.

  • Experience working with medical devices (bedside monitors, information systems, telemetry devices, etc.) in hospital or medically-oriented business setting

  • Possesses understanding of hospital environments, particularly in Critical Care and/or OR

  • Possesses understanding and experience working with and/or testing HL7/medical device interfacing

  • Possesses understanding and experience working with and/or testing of Mobile (Android and iOS) healthcare applications

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, cross-discipline environment

  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to understand and assess a complex software application or scenario

  • Experience with developing and executing of test scripts/protocols based on user workflows a plus

  • Experience working with Microsoft© Windows operating systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good problem solving skills

  • Self-starter, willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies

  • Experienced in the installation and configuration of patient monitoring solutions and/or clinical applications in healthcare

  • Experience facilitating clinical process improvement in medical environment with emphasis on understanding, documenting, and/or improving clinical workflows or outcomes

  • Experience with medically-oriented metric reporting/assessment
