Microsoft Corporation Software Engineer II in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Come shape the way people around the world engage with Microsoft products and services. The SPACE (Services Platform, Accounts, and Connected Experiences) team is part of the Windows and Devices division. We are focused on using front-end and back-end services to deliver innovative, customer-focused Microsoft user experiences across devices and the web (aka service driven experiences).

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven, and collaborative software engineer to join the Data and Applied Scientist team to accelerate experimentation with strategic investments. The goals of this role are to align and optimize the infrastructure and to deliver solutions to enable intelligence through Data for the Account Experiences team.


As a software engineer on the team, you will collaborate with other software engineers and product managers across organizations to evolve our experimentation efficiency and effectiveness in client and service data ecosystems. Our team always puts our customers first, and to that end you will also be responsible for being quality-driven and data-driven. This requires close collaboration with data science and intelligence to design a strategy for telemetry, drive analysis, run experiments and continually assess your feature against the team’s business goals.


Required qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in CS, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • 4 or more years of proven experience and excellent command over programming and design concepts.

  • 1 or more years of software development experience in C#, C++, ReactJS, or ReactNative (React).

  • 1 or more years of data engineering and/or data pipeline engineering experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with client and service software experimentation

  • Solid understanding of web architecture.

  • Experience with Windows development.

This role is US based, and succesfull candidates should be able to work PDT
