KSQ Therapeutics Senior Associate Scientist/Scientist, Pharmacology in Cambridge, Massachusetts
KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Associate Scientist/Scientist, Pharmacology to apply their experience in drug discovery towards the discovery of the next generation of impactful therapies. This person will contribute to in vivo pharmacology efforts to support the advancement of our pre-clinical Oncology and Immuno-Oncology small and large molecule pipeline. Independently execute on a wide variety of in vivo techniques across multiple projects with delivery of high quality data
Effectively communicate experimental results to manager and a wider audience when required
Work collaboratively within department and across departments to effectively achieve project goals and timelines
Understand and implement applicable regulations around animal care/safety/handling.
Be high energy and open-minded while working in a collaborative, innovative and fun environment
Associate Scientist: B.S. degree with 0-3 years of industry experience/ Scientist: M.S. degree preferred with 4+ years of industry experience
Demonstrated experience in independent organization and execution of in vivo studies to evaluate tolerability, efficacy and mechanism of action of therapeutic agents.
In vivo oncology and immune-oncology model experience including cell culture, compound preparation and administration (e.g. i.v., s.c, p.o.), tumor xenograft implantation and measurement.
Proven ability in the execution of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics studies. Including multiple methods of sampling and ex vivo sample preparation.
Experience in orthotopic, PDX and humanized mouse systems is desirable.
Experience managing CRO activities
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work in multidisciplinary teams
