Conduct all aspects of Draper Security’s internal and external investigations, including creating an investigation plan, interviewing employees, reviewing documents, conducting root cause analyses, develop/manage corrective action plans and drafting incident reports, to include Government initial, final and follow-up reports. Brief Senior Leadership when necessary
Receive and research case-related questions, engage with team members to work through to solution.
Interpret policy and regulations to provide guidance and advice in legally or regulatory complex areas.
Provide Security education and awareness campaign aligned with current security incidents, counterintelligence and insider threats
Proactively analyze incident data, information for potential misconduct or anomalous behavior; conduct investigations when necessary
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with lines of business, and key internal and external stakeholders, including Cyber, Legal, HR, Law Enforcement partners, and others to guide risk mitigation efforts.
Continuously evaluate changes in actors, tactics, techniques, and targets to enhance threat scenarios and use cases; make recommendations to ensure technology strategy maintains pace with changing insider threat landscape
Evaluate insider threat data and incidents to identify trends and methods of threats
Lead Draper Insider Threat program
Execute special projects as assigned
Strong leadership skills and sound business and legal judgment. Ability to collaborate well in the company’s matrix of working relationships to shape solutions.

Bachelor’s degree required - relevant majors considered include Intelligence Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or related; Master’s Degree preferred.
5-10 years of professional experience, with 5 years of directly relevant experience, to include insider threat, investigative, or intelligence experience.
Knowledge of incident response, crisis management, data management best practices, and cyber security trends
Experience conducting, leading, and/or managing investigations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US government Top Secret security clearance.
Strong oral and written communication, analytical, critical thinking, data management, and research skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including translation of complex concepts and issues into insights/potential impact for Senior Management and non-technical audiences; strong interpersonal skills
Experience conducting end-to-end investigations, including collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and handling sensitive materials.
- Current in scope Top Secret security clearance is required.
