RTX BBN Technologies seeks a proactive, organized, results-driven candidate to fill the role of Scrum Master and Product Manager in our Intelligent Software and Systems business unit. This role will involve significant interaction with technical development and research staff, customers at Government funding agencies, and end users (military and civilian) of our technology. You will lead sprint planning meetings; assign and track progress on tasking by the technical project staff; organize and lead meetings with the customer, collaborating organizations, and stakeholders; and plan and organize demonstrations, experiments, assessments, user engagements, and transition activities. You will co-lead a large research, development, and transition project, supporting the Principal Investigator (PI) in all activities to enable the PI to concentrate on the technical challenges of the project.

The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently handle complex technical and customer management issues while helping researchers focus on the technical work to be achieved and the big picture of their efforts.
Qualifications You Must Have
B.S. or equivalent in a technical degree with 4 years or more experience as Scrum Master or Program Manager.
Experience working on software development teams and with understanding and applying Agile principles, with the flexibility to tailor agile methodologies to the team’s, customer’s, and end user’s needs.
Experience with setting of sprint goals, task planning, staffing, and tracking of projects with multiple personnel
Experience in organizing, leading and facilitating team meetings, technical interchange meetings with the customer, PI meetings, and user engagements.
Willingness to travel.
US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Active security clearance is a plus.
Qualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in the use of ticketing systems, managing task backlog, and producing task backlog reports.
Experience with Agile or DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, etc.).
Experience in organizing and producing deliverables including progress reports, software releases, user manuals, and presentation material.
Strong problem solving and influencing skills.
Experience working with various audiences, both technical and non-technical.
Active security clearance.
Experience in working on and managing Government-funded contracts.
Experience in dealing with government compliance processes such as export/import control
Experience in writing proposals for Government funding

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
