PSG Global Solutions Scientist I in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Scientist I , working in the Biotechnology/Medical Devices industry in Cambridge, Massachusetts .

  • Performs GC-MS based lipid assay development and sample analysis, and/or conducts LC-MS based lipid sample analysis.

  • Performs assay development on GC-MS or LC-MS platforms

  • Performs sample preparation for GC-MS or LC-MS analysis

  • Performs sample analysis for high priority projects

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Analytical Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related subjects

  • Hands on experiences in LC or GC based mass spectrometry (MS) assay development

  • Experience in operating GC-MS instrument (e.g. Agilents system)

  • Experience in analysis of lipids and metabolites

  • Experience in chemical derivatization for lipids
