Draper Laboratory is seeking a talented, entry level, electrical engineer to join the Electromagnetics and RF Design team at Draper. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers and scientists across several disciplines to develop electronics for state-of-the-art sensors and systems.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have excellent technical communication skills.


  • Typical duties involve the simulation, modeling, prototyping, and testing of analog and digital circuits, amplifiers, communications systems, antennas, microwave systems, and electromagnetic sensors.

  • The candidate will also be responsible for working in an ESD-controlled environment using a wide variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, & power amplifiers.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

  • The candidate will have an exceptional academic record and demonstrated laboratory competence in circuit or antenna design, prototyping, testing, and debugging.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of schematic capture and layout tools is preferred.

  • Experience with some or all of the following analysis tools is preferred:

Security Requirement:

  • This position will require the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance. The primary requirement for a security clearance is US Citizenship.

  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
