This position provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the work at the Protein Drug Product Development. As a Research and Development Associate, you will be primarily responsible for supporting bioavailability investigations related to subcutaneously injected drug products. Responsibilities will include hands-on laboratory experimentation to ascertain bioavailability and fate of drug products after injection, sample management, and data analysis. You will support the development of a mathematical subcutaneous model by providing and analyzing necessary experimental data.
You will be required to collaborate with different stakeholders within the Protein Drug Product Development team.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of related laboratory experience is required
Basic understanding of engineering principles such as heat and mass transfer is required
Proficiency with MS Excel and other statistical software and excellent data organization
Familiarity with parenteral administration of therapeutics is desirable, but not required
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
