Oracle Programmer Analyst 4-IT in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.
As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

You would be part of the Real Estate Technologies team whose mission is to introduce and maintain Oracle technology that will enhance the experience of our internal customers and improve the efficiency of Real Estate & Facilities.
As a highly motivated and experienced full-stack Oracle software developer, you will enjoy the following responsibilities:
Meet with internal clients to clarify solution requirements and analyze existing data and solutions
Research, explore and propose solutions utilizing the latest Oracle technologies
Perform complex design, development, testing, and documentation for your solution, complying with established methodologies and ensuring cross-platform optimization
Utilize creative abilities to enhance existing product lines with new capabilities and features
Work independently to evaluate, estimate, plan, and schedule the work necessary to deliver impactful solutions to our employees
Work closely with stakeholders on the delivery of each solution, providing complete and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle
Implement code in a manner that is documented, robust, efficient, and repeatable
Be responsible for ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, and improvement of your code
Perform quality assurance reviews of data models and code for applications being developed by your peers
Mentor others and foster collaboration and innovation
Recommended Skills:
8 years’ experience working in a development capacity at a software company or other technology-oriented business
Significant expertise in the following areas: Object-Oriented Programming (Java/J2EE, JSP); SQL/PL*SQL, and PERL; geographical/location and local coordinate system data utilizing Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer and Oracle Spatial and Graph; Oracle database (12c or above) and spatial concepts and data structures; WebLogic 11g/12c; Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle SQL Developer, Eclipse, NetBeans; and user interface design and front-end technologies (HTML/HTML5, CSS3 , JavaScript, Responsive Design, AJAX, XML)
Some expertise in the following areas: development frameworks/platforms such as Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) and/or Oracle Application Express (APEX); data analysis, data modeling and diagramming; design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, and Wireframe/Adobe XD; data structures, algorithms, and system design; quality assurance, with experience implementing best practices for code review, data model review, unit testing, and load testing; software development lifecycle principles, including both agile and waterfall methodologies; skills in debugging, problem-solving, and creating and documenting processes and code; Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Experience with any of the following would be an asset: working with distributed team members; knowledge of real estate data, space planning, and location analysis processes; JSON; web services (REST); Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (Oracle JET); mobile development and deployment; source-control management software such as SVN/GIT; Node JS, Angular.js, JQuery.js; dimensional data modeling (star schemas, snowflake schemas); Oracle Cloud (PaaS), and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), AutoCAD functionality, video editing software such as Camtasia, Adobe Video Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Non-technical competence in the following areas: interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, organize your own work and that of others, and to work to deadlines; creative problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
