Additional Information:This is a full-time term appointment through September 12, 2025, with potential for re-appointment.

This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday – Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.

The Program Manager, HBS Leadership Initiative, Administrative Fellow:

  • Plays a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing the LI 25th Anniversary events.

  • Demonstrates familiarity with content areas, including leadership and leadership development.

  • Build a communications plan for the LI, including marketing materials for a range of LI 25th-related events, including social media sites, newsletters, and reports.

  • Drafts and distributes program-specific communications to the community, relevant sites, and social networks.

  • Disseminates new resulting knowledge and anticipates future research needs.

  • Plans and manages various events (e.g., academic convenings and a special library exhibit).

  • Manages program registration and effectively communicates with participants, faculty, and staff.

  • Successfully balances high-quality participant-facing activities with behind-the-scenes administrative duties.

  • Coordinates travel arrangements, processes reimbursements and manages and reconciles payments in the Concur System. Ensures all travel expenses comply with Harvard University's travel and financial policies.

  • Works collaboratively with colleagues across HU and HBS, including Baker Library, Division of Research and Faculty Development (DRFD), and Business in Global Society (BiGS)-Initiatives.

  • The role is responsible for other duties as assigned.
