Kforce Principal SAP Sales Engineer, Financial Systems in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Kforce has a client in search of a Principal SAP Sales Engineer, Financial Systems in Cambridge, MA.Duties:
Lead functional and technical, configuration and development for the Sales & Billing business processes within the SAP s4 HANA landscape, including logistics supply chain integration
Act as the system expert for specific Sales & Distribution (SD) related configuration to support business processes with SAP s4 HANA to include SD-Sales, SD-Billing, SD-Credit Management, and Customer Business Partner capabilities
Help shape the strategy for an integrated Sales & Billing systems landscape, including external Order-to-Cash (OTC), leveraging both native s4 HANA and FIORI functionality, as well as additional CRM related solutions
Application support for the current and post go-live digital finance landscape as a level 2/3 SME
Propose, lead and deploy small and medium-size continuous improvement projects within financial systems for Sales & Billing, and supply chain integration
Write functional and technical specifications with ability to propose BAPI, BADI's, user exit and function modules to developers
Define and support sales and order management reporting and analytics
Provide leadership and architectural knowledge within large cross functional projects
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and internal digital teams to design, develop and implement solutions with integration to Accounting and other Logistics modules (IM, PP, QM, etc.)
Independently deliver projects and initiatives in a timely and qualitative manor
Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues
Participate in the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases relating to new systems or potential system changes
Minimum 15 years working with Sales & Billing and related business processes and systems
10 years of experience working with SAP required, some experience with s4 HANA preferred
Functional SAP expertise in Purchasing, Material Master & Valuation, Business Partner capabilities, and pricing conditions for purchasing related documents
Experience in configuring and deploying Sales & Billing solutions involving:
Quotations & Orders
Contracts & Scheduling Agreements
Invoice & Customer Management
Revenue & Profitability reporting
Understanding SAP Material Ledger and related Master Data
Expertise in configuring Pricing Procedures and Tax Recognition
Understanding of concepts of Revenue Recognition requirements and techniques
Expertise in developing SAP reporting using tools such as SAPQuery and other standard SAP Functional Reporting within the Logistics modules
Working knowledge in leveraging other SAP reporting tools leveraging FIORI and BOBJ BI solution platforms, as well as working with HANA Calculation and CDS Views
Working knowledge other CRM solutions, such as SalesForce or Insightly, and their integration back into core s4 HANA; Deep understanding of the Sales & Distribution modules with expertise in configuring all aspects of Sales and Billing sub-modules, including related Customer and Product master data
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects or workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Proven work experience with SaaS systems, cloud applications, and digital integration
Data and business process modeling skills strongly preferred
