Microsoft Threat Protection with Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection is a service that helps enterprises detect, investigate, and respond to advanced attacks on their networks. Building on the existing security defenses Windows 10 offers today, Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection provides a new post-breach layer of protection to the Windows 10 security stack and across other platforms. With a combination of client technology built into Windows 10 and a robust cloud service, it helps detect threats that have made it past other defenses, provide enterprises with information to investigate the breach across endpoints, and offer response recommendations.
The MTP Customer Experience team helps our field close deals, onboard customers to our services, deliver top-notch customer engagement, ensure a great customer and partner experience, and drive a data-driven customer/engineering feedback loop. We are focused on scaling out to meet these challenges in the face of incredible growth.As a part of the team, you will drive field, customer, and partner readiness for Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection opportunities through engineering assistance and technical information, training, and other programs as appropriate.
The Manager of the MDATP and MTP world-wide pre-intent team will lead a team across three areas of responsibility:
Engage, Evangelize, Educate: In this position, one must possess technical knowledge to span across multiple audiences to understand customer business and technical requirements and provide consultative guidance on product capabilities across the M365 stack to achieve desired outcomes, understand market and compete play in the EDR and XDR markets to drive customer wins.
Product & Service Insights : Working with the rest of the M365 teams, use your knowledge and expertise with enterprise customers to help guide the future direction of our products and services.
Ecosystem Enablement: Use your subject matter expertise & experience with enterprise customers to train and enable our scalable deployment ecosystem.
Here’s some of what we are looking for in a candidate:
2+ years of experience leading a team and growing people.
5+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles to build better products our enterprise customers love.
10+ years as a Program Manager
Diverse and inclusive strong cross-team collaboration, i.e. not operating in silos, active listening and inviting diverse perspectives, focusing on shared success.
Passion to support direct reports growth and career.
Ability to forge strong relationships with customers (Business Decision Makers, CSOs and IT Leaders), communicating on behalf of Engineering, facilitating understanding of our value proposition and our services; direct experience working with customers
Strong background in cybersecurity knowledge & technical expertise within the M365 stack
Passion backed by solid experience in advocating on behalf of the customer to make our products even stronger with proven track record driving the prioritization of a backlog based on actual customer evidence
An ability to work well within fast-paced, ambiguous situations where you need to define the problem, goal, solution and see it to completion.
Great communication skills; adapting your style and level of information based on the audience
Location near a major airport and a willingness to travel to and work on-site at customer locations (as the position does require approximately 25% travel)
Remote work environment enabling high productivity. Proven track record driving the prioritization of a backlog based on actual customer evidence.
Outstanding customer satisfaction track record
