As part of Microsoft’s Cloud + AI Group, we are responsible for building, managing, and securing the platform, products, processes, and services that powers Microsoft. We build, maintain, and implement a cloud-first approach to our technology and experiences, from custom-built business solutions developing our campus of the future and our productivity and collaboration experiences like Teams and SharePoint, to horizontal 3rd party solutions like SAP and Adobe. Microsoft Digital is responsible for company-wide information security and compliance, with a strategic focus on information protection, assessment, awareness, governance, and enterprise business continuity. As customer zero, we deploy these services inside Microsoft and then share best practices with enterprise customers at scale across the globe.

Job Description

As a AsPrincipalPMManager you willlead the teamthat is responsible for tenant architecture and experiences. This team will focus on releasing changes in the Microsoft tenant that enable collaboration, improve productivity while keeping it compliant and secure. This includes leading a change management process for the tenant so that any new products or features are compliant with privacy, legal and security requirements. This team will also be responsible for partnering with different Product Groups to provide requirements for product innovation, be part of the strategic discussions for the product roadmap, participate in early testing and feedback and deployment of the features in the tenant. The team is expected to stay up to speed on the latest Microsoft 365 capabilities and be able to call out experience or compliance gaps across product seams, raise awareness with the Product Groups and drive relevant product enhancements. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team whose work not only impacts the experience of the entire employee base within Microsoft but also external customers through our customer outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manageand grow a team of PMs while leading by example with a growth mindset.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture where your team can do its best work

  • Lead the tenant change management process for all M365products and features

  • Onboard features ensuring that they are compliant with regulatory requirements

  • Facilitate product discussions that willresult in rich, intuitiveemployee experiencesutilizing the M365 product suite andsurrounding apps

  • Thrive in ambiguity and create clarity for the team

  • Establish relationships,influence,and manage dependencieswith product partnersandposition the team as contributors to the product strategy

Qualifications

Miniumum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program management experiencein a technology environment

  • 5+ years of product development experience enabling rich end user experiences

  • 3+ yearsof people managementexperience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background and solid foundation in software or platform engineering principles

  • Proven track record ofplanning anddelivering complexinitiativesthat meet evolving business requirements; passion for cloud-based technologies

  • Experience in Security and Compliance relatedprograms

  • Excellent cross-discipline leadership, collaboration and influencing skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • BA/BS or MS degree in computer science,engineering
