Position Description
We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow who will work in the field of economic theory and theoretical behavioral economics to conduct rigorous, high-quality research in these areas. As a member of the department and the theory field, the Post-Doctoral Fellow will work on topics in economic theory and cognitive economics.
Conducts in-depth high-quality research under the direction of Professor Andrei Shleifer analyzing topics in cognitive economics.
Develops research methods to answer academic questions of interest
Develops paper and slide material for disseminating research results to various audiences and stakeholders.
Develops and implements efficient coding and data handling processes
Meets with and briefs relevant external collaborators on research
Authors or co-authors publications
May work or oversee junior research fellows and graduate students
*Position will be 1-year from the date of appointment, renewable for a second year.
Basic Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience in economics or related field at the time of appointment.
