Biogen National Hospital Systems Director in Cambridge, Massachusetts

About This Role The Associate Director is a field-based position, responsible for developing sustainable strategic stakeholder relationships with key system accounts and overseeing successful execution of the national strategic engagement plan. This includes strategy and alignment pertaining to system access and approach, GPO contract engagement and business planning, division and child account affiliation influence and engagement execution. This role works closely with several cross functional teams including: Key Account (i.e. AAL), Sales, Reimbursement and Payer Director teams to ensure broad brand alignment to meet business goals and to maximize performance. * * What You’ll Do * Accountable for National Hospital Systems success across the full Biogen portfolio. Develop, build and sustain strategic relationships with key stakeholders including affiliated GPOs, divisional and child accounts to maximize our access, engagement and effectiveness with clinician/providers, pharmacy, clinical operations and other C-suite decision makers. * Develop System Account Plans and overall account strategy to include all stakeholders while working collaboratively to match account needs and expectations with internal capabilities (Trade & Distribution, Contracting, Patients Services, Data Analytics, Sales) * Works closely with national and regional account and sales leadership teams to align and coordinate execution of key account engagement * Accountable for the co-creation (with Contracting & T&D) of a GPO contract strategy across brands. * Achieve Partner of Choice by offering solutions around clinical value, economics and education, quarterly business reviews that address customer goals and business targets. * Must have demonstrated strong leadership skill and ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment. * Key National Hospital System relationships and performance track record preferred * Must be highly motivated with strong analytical, problem solving and communicating with impact. * Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and show agility to rapid changing landscape. * Prior people management preferred * * Who You Are This role appeals to creative and strategic problem solvers who enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and can exert influence at all levels. Excellent communication skills, learning agility and a desire to constantly absorb complex clinical, analytical, and environmental trends are essential to success. * * Required Skills * 10+ prior experience in specialty, biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry in various functional departments to include strategic, key, or payer accounts, market access, sales management, marketing, and sales. * National Hospital Systems background preferred – notably at Commonspirit, HCA, Trinity, Tenet * Market Access skill set background is required. * GPO Contract management and negotiation experience preferred * Experience in Supply chain or trade and distribution. * Experience with customer solutions or value creation to achieve partner of choice * Healthcare landscape knowledge and analytics are preferred. * Experience in working with highly matrixed and collaborative environment. * * All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
