You will play a key role within the Dermatology Global Medical Team supporting current licensed Dermatology indications as well as future age expansions and new indications in Dermatology. The position requires excellence in planning and operational execution, and outstanding interpersonal skills for working in a Global Medical and cross functional team, a complex matrix, and working closely with an Alliance partner.

Our Medical Affairs function serves as a key strategic partner with commercial, regulatory, clinical, and market access on therapeutic solutions to support patients’ needs. Within the Dermatology Medical Affairs team, we are proud to support Sanofi’s deep commitment and investment in treating diseases driven by type 2 inflammation in support of our patients. Dupilumab has transformed Atopic Dermatitis management and other advanced drugs have been approved lately, expanding the landscape of Atopic Dermatitis treatment.

Main responsibilities:

  • This role will cover Atopic Dermatitis and all new dermatology indications, as well as cross indication (type 2) strategy and tactics, and implementation science.

  • Work closely with Global Medical Category Leads on developing medical strategy for Dupilumab. Participation and input in the development of Dermatology Global Medical Plans.

  • Identify any data gaps for successful Market Access and LCM plans in markets and design data generation strategies to timely address these gaps; work closely with HEVA and LCM team to address these gaps.

  • Develop a key external expert engagement strategy and manage interactions with Academic Medical Societies for Dermatology/type 2 indications.

  • Engagement of key external experts in advisory boards specific initiatives in Dermatology TA with a focus in Major countries in the pre-launch, launch and post launch phases of the product.

  • Interact and work closely with the Global R&D, Clinical teams and Medical division and with the relevant colleagues of our alliance partner Regeneron.

About you

  • Experience in Medical Affairs. Ideally you are a Medical Doctor with solid experience and a proven track record in EU/international Medical Affairs functions, but you can also be a scientist/ pharmacist / PhD in biomedical sciences with experience in Medical Affairs at international level.

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry within monoclonal antibodies/biologic therapy is a clear asset. Solid understanding of clinical needs in Dermatology and Immune mediated diseases.

  • Experience working in an international multi-country setting is a definite plus, as is past international assignment.

  • Strategic thinking: Makes decisions by analyzing current and future scenarios. Disrupts the status quo with innovation, while remaining pragmatic and focused on priorities.

  • Highest integrity; committed to ethics and scientific standards.

  • Fluency in English language.
