Philips Marketing Manager, Precision Diagnosis in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Marketing Manager will establish and execute on an inbound marketing strategy driven by a deep understanding of customer insights and Patient Engagement Manager’s (PEM) unique value proposition. He/she will align messaging and execute campaigns with the needs of the business category and with those of the Precision Diagnosis (PD) North American Market (NAM) and PD Cluster organizations.
You are responsible for
Translate IPM’s mission and vision into a holistic marketing strategy encompassing branding, advertising, events, public relations and social media activities.
Branding – Develop and deploy brand positioning, strategy and Philips brand experience guidelines. Drive brand preference, reputation and thought leadership to position Philips IPM as a health tech company, including consistent brand preference across touchpoints.
Advertising – launch print and digital advertising campaigns.
Events – Responsible for creating an annual events calendar, including a conference attendance calendar. Ensure that marketing and sales resources are deployed in event preparation in a timely and effective fashion.
Public Relations – Coordinate with Philips’ Global Press Office to bring adequate attention to PEM milestones and new releases.
Social Media – Establish an online presence in conjunction with or in addition to Philips’ existing efforts.
Help to drive content strategy and communications asset creation with the Marketing Operations Associate (eg. Customer case studies, company presentations).
Translate in-depth market and customer insights, as well as competitive analyses into winning concepts in such a way that sound business result can be achieved in the short, mid and long term.
Work closely with stakeholders from PD NAM and the PD Cluster to optimize the marketing reach for PEM.
Optimize market strategy based on the clinical domain (eg. Radiology vs. surgery vs. outpatient appointments, etc.)
Collaborate with the Customer Success team to capture customer insights that drive improvements to marketing strategy.
Manage Communications channels, both internal (eg. PEM Periodical) and external (including the intranet, Philips Community, newsletters and webcasts).
Responsible for maintaining communications with and soliciting approvals from client marketing departments.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Ability to define marketing strategies related to business goals.
Experience in marketing (campaign) planning, relationship marketing, marketing innovation, and messaging creation.
Creative. Demonstrated ability to think innovatively – connecting the dots where others cannot when it comes to consumers to create business building insights.
In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry and competitive landscape.
In-depth understanding of SaaS businesses, particularly in the context of health tech.
Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the Philips Business System by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, health systems organization, cross business and cross function.
Bringing people together and aligning them around common goals; leverages the power of Philips independent from organizational structures and reports.
Problem solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or complex issues.
Leadership skills. Able to communicate with a wide range of constituents in a matrix organization. Business minded with the ability to interact with relevant leaders throughout the company.
