MANAGER, AMBULATORY CARE REVENUE CYCLE OPERATIONS, MIT Medical, to manage the day-to-day operations and practice functions of the Billing and Coding Finance Department. Will provide strategy, decision support, organizational planning, and operational leadership in support of driving revenue cycle-related activities; serve as a principal resource on all operational matters and as a consultant to managers of other service areas on operational matters; develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient processing of work; participate in confidential staff salary planning; develop and maintain systems/processes that measure the results of staff work/productivity and volume, patient/staff/provider satisfaction. or other work improvement indicators.
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; at least five years’ revenue cycle operations experience and at least three years’ management experience in a healthcare setting; experience managing the revenue cycle operations within an ambulatory medical care setting and/or demonstrated relevant domain knowledge; strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, customer service; and written and oral communication skills; keen attention to detail; effective judgment with sensitive matters; experience with data modeling, spreadsheets, and databases; and advanced level proficiency with Excel. Seek a self-starter who is interested in continuous learning and willing to take on new challenges and create innovative solutions. Must be able to help counterparts through difficult transitions to new processes/workflows/situations; get deep into details and perform very granular reviews and extensive process shadowing; keep colleagues informed about procedures, requirements, and deadlines; meet deadlines; collaborate as part of a team to fulfill joint objectives; and work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
