Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Job Description:

  • Take the lead in monitoring building system operations and performance using a range of skills such as plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling.

  • Work on equipment including air handlers, chillers, pumps, valves and more.

  • Organizing and performing preventative maintenance schedules will be a crucial part of your role.

  • Manage the energy management program to ensure all systems operate efficiently and keep operating costs to a minimum.

  • Responsible for maintaining the building lighting system and overseeing its controls.

Experience:

  • 3 or more years of experience in a maintenance technician or building engineer role

  • Knowledge of building management systems and controls

  • Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and working off work orders

  • General maintenance

Work Environment:

  • Work in an office/pharmaceutical building located near Kendall Square

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing during course of day

  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Work may be performed outdoors to include exposure to weather, fumes, electrical current, and machine noise

Pay:

$37/hr without license

$45-48/hr with license

Hours: 6:00AM - 3:00PM
