Insight Global Life Sciences Business Development Representative- Bay Area in San Francisco, California

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Bay-Area based Business Development Representative to join their team. This person will join a Series B funded start-up in the IoT space that is strategically building out their sales organization to support and enhance growth. He/she will be responsible for taking the company's strategic sales approach and data and creatively prospect and work with marketing teams on new campaigns to grow their customer base. The role will be mostly focused on finding new business, cold outreach (mostly via email/Linkedin), and setting meetings for the Account Executive. The role will mostly be work from home, but someone needs to be local as this person will attend events for networking opportunities roughly monthly. We're looking for someone who is collaborative and has a strategic mindset.

Compensation for this role is 50-60k per year annually plus bonus/commission. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-1+ years of experience as a BDR

-Background or interest in the Life Sciences Space

-Experience and comfortability doing cold outreach (calling and emailing)

-Strategic Mindset

-Bachelor's Degree -IoT Device Knowledge null
