Actalent Lab Operations Coordinator in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Operations Coordinator to assist with media preparation, autoclaving, and sterilization of lab equipment. This role involves handling raw materials and consumables, following lab procedures, and supporting scientists with their daily tasks. The position offers direct exposure to working with DNA sequencers and interaction with DNA scientists.
Responsibilities
Assist with media preparation
Utilize an autoclave for equipment sterilization
Handle raw materials and consumables
Follow established lab procedures

Qualifications
Associate's degree in a life science with 0-1 year of experience, or Bachelor's degree in a life science with 0+ years of experience
High School Diploma with 2 years of lab experience
Work Environment
This is an onsite, first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The work environment is business casual, and the company is a smaller organization with about 15 individuals.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
