Vinfen IT Help Desk Technician (EHR) in Cambridge, Massachusetts

##Job Description

As a Helpdesk Technician, you will work on the IT team to provide support directly to Vinfen end users of a newly implemented Electronic Health Record Keeping System (EHR). Your work will include support on new computer and peripheral deployments, software installation and updates as well as a variety of application troubleshooting. The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for a combination of remote support as well as traveling to Vinfen sites for on-site support.

The Helpdesk Technician will also support temporary and permanent telehealth and remote service delivery, including configuration and installation of equipment and access to software and technical assistance ensuring programs are suitably technology enabled to allow client connectivity with physically remote health providers. In addition the Helpdesk Technician will support temporary and permanent remote working arrangements for staff as directed.

  • A bachelor's degree in information systems, database management or related field preferred, but experience may substitute for education. High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4 - 5 years related experience.
  • Prior experience working with Application support preferred
  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year.
  • All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record check.
