Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Description Our non-profit client is seeking a Mac Specialist to join their team for a contract to permanent opportunity. The position is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As Mac Specialist, you will be tasked with monitoring the ticketing system, providing basic support for equipment and services, managing office support tasks and assisting with inventory tracking.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the ticketing system, assigning tickets as required • Provide basic support both in person and remotely for various equipment and services including printers, scanners, mailing equipment, audiovisual equipment, workstation equipment, and staff laptops • Submit tickets to management regarding maintenance needs • Conduct office support tasks such as handling incoming/outgoing mail and packages, refilling supplies, and maintaining clean and organized public spaces • Assist with the tracking of equipment and inventory • Familiarize with Microsoft 365, Zoom, and ticketing system for efficient task execution • Write technical documentation as required • Troubleshoot AV equipment when necessary • Manage devices using Jamf device management

Additional responsibilities include assisting facilities department as needed Requirements • Possess at least one year of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar

• Demonstrable proficiency in Citrix Technologies

• Knowledge and experience with Database management

• Familiarity with Lotus Notes

• Possess strong understanding of Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Proven experience in Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware

• Proficiency in using Jamf Pro and JAMF Casper Suite

• Knowledge of Mac OS and Mac OS X

• Experience in using Ticketing System for handling Support Tickets

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
