This is an opportunity to join the RTX BBN Technologies Finance team in support of the Intelligent Software & Systems (ISS) Business Unit which is a growing business unit with $60M+ in sales and a portfolio of innovative programs bringing advanced solutions to our customers. The ISS portfolio of programs includes advancement of Synthetic Biology, Autonomy, Machine Intelligence, Modeling & Simulation, Information Management, Resiliency Engineering and Unmanned Innovations. The RTX BBN Technologies Finance team is a diverse group of individuals with a robust mix of skills and experiences collaborating across the organization to influence optimal business decisions and achieve predictable results. The selected candidate will be accountable for providing financial leadership to the execution and continued growth of ISS.
Responsibilities:
Apply your financial and analytical skills in an energetic and fast-paced environment
Support startup and execution of various Cost-type, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts utilizing Raytheon financial systems; working with program managers across multiple programs and locations
Provide effective communication of key financial metrics through the development of quarterly estimate at complete (EAC), program management reviews, and other project financial deliverables to customers
Must be an experienced professional at analyzing data and information necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are identified, and corrective action is taken
Monitor spending against authorized budgets for new business development activities
Provide timely & accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and forecasting to ISS & BBN Technologies Leadership

Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field of study with 2+ years applicable experience including program controls, program scheduling, cash management, and/or financial planning and analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (AO/Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
Position requires US citizenship with ability and willingness to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
Qualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment
Familiarity with job cost accounting systems
Prior experience working in government contracts governed by both FAR and DFARs
SAP Experience (APEX, PRISM, BW and AO)
Proposal development experience (ProPricer)
Independent, proactive and self-motivated
Experience with Earned Value Management

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
