Additional Information:

As Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Provide substantive and administrative support of various projects and Center-wide initiatives, including monitoring timelines, keeping daily to-do lists, and tracking outputs;

  • Organize senior meetings including maintaining agendas and other documentation, and keeping the calendars of the Sr. Director, Executive Director of Institutes and Managing Director, including managing complex and highly dynamic scheduling tasks;

  • Assist with coordinating meetings, conferences and lectures, including arranging media, catering, guest outreach, materials, accommodation, and travel. Make complex travel arrangements.

  • Coordinate correspondence with numerous internal and external partners, funders, and affiliates;

  • Coordinate meetings and agendas for BKC Board of Directors;

  • May assist with staff recruiting efforts for key roles, including screening resumes and interviewing applicants in person;

  • Perform general office duties including ordering office supplies, placing catering orders, and reserving space for meetings and events.

  • Contribute to Center goals by accomplishing related duties as required.

The Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society (BKC) at Harvard University seeks an Executive Assistant to be responsible for administrative logistics and coordination for the senior leadership team of the Center including Senior Director of Applied Social Media Lab, Executive Director of Institutes and the Managing Director. This person will serve as the principal administrative contact and liaison for internal and external program constituencies of the Center's senior leadership.
