Eliot Community Human Services Inc Director of Cambridge Homeless Services in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Responsibilities Ensure that harm reduction, housing first, and trauma informed philosophies remain core tenets of care coordination, support service provision and program oversight as applicable. Manage and oversee general operations and support service provision within all Cambridge and MassHealth funded sites and services including CSP-HI, 16-18 Wendell and 116 Norfolk Residential projects, and Cambridge Coordinated Access Network (CCAN). Provide real time guidance and support to leadership and program/field staff to address acute/high risk client needs. Escalate said concerns to Division Director and/or Medical Director as applicable. Work collaboratively with the City of Cambridge, CCAN, local stakeholder agencies, and other community-based entities. Hold house community meetings collaboratively with City of Cambridge property management personnel to solicit feedback from residents on recreational activities, policies/procedures, collective problem solving to cultivate a shared sense of community Participate in strategic planning, risk review, and leadership meeting forums within the Homeless Services Division. Serve as the primary liaison to the City of Cambridge and ensure compliance with contracts and model fidelity. Provide after-hours consultation and guidance to leadership staff as needed. Serves as back up on call to Program Managers. Provides utilization & review of CSP-HI cases with Eliot Quality Assurance Team and Leadership. Provides comprehensive reports per contracts to City of Cambridge within assigned timeframe. Oversee all aspects of placement including but not limited to: application/screening, risk review & mitigation, outreach collaboration & support, new resident orientation, and collaborative support planning. Provide interventions and support to reduce and mitigate aggressive and/or harmful behavior towards others and promote safe community tenancy. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Requires a Master?s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology or related field. Independent clinical licensure preferred. Minimum 3 years post Master?s degree experience with at least 2 being in a supervisory capacity within a program that supports the unhoused population and/or individuals with complex chronic behavioral health and/or medical concerns. Must have demonstrated experience providing effective clinical and systemic leadership to mid-level management personnel and field staff. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership that incorporates trauma informed care, harm reduction principles, and a housing first philosophy is required. Must have experience in monitoring quality assurance (HMIS and e-Hana platforms) -ensuring that appropriate documentation and reporting of outcomes are in regulatory compliance Qualifications Education Required Masters of Social Work or better in Psychology or related field.
